Events a la Carte offers you the opportunity to have your event staffed by bartenders who carry a traveling City of Chicago Liquor License and be added to our “Dram Shop,” Liquor Liability Insurance and General liability insurance for the day of your event. This will have you or your company covered for one million dollars in liquor liability.

Liquor Licensing & Liability Insurance Rates

• $900.00 fixed rate per date for the licensing and insurance plus the cost of the bartenders
• Insurance indemnifies up to 400 guests $1.00 per guest above 400
• Bartenders have a five hour minimum each at $65.00 per hour or $325.00
• Any additional time at $65.00 per hour per bartender
• 2 Bartenders minimum, 1 – 100 guests
• 3 Bartenders 101 – 150 guests, 1 additional bartender for every 1 – 50 additional guests

Insurance is valid only in the State of Illinois. You must rent all your bartenders through Events a la Carte to have the liquor licensing and liability insurance. A copy of the insurance will be emailed to you stating which name or names are covered under the policy. The liquor license can be emailed to the venue if requested.
